Air Fryer Egg Toast (Print)

Eggs nestled in buttery toast, air-fried to golden perfection for an easy, satisfying breakfast.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 slices thick-cut bread (such as brioche or Texas toast)
02 - 2 large eggs, fresh
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or cooking spray
04 - 1 pinch salt, to taste
05 - 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

→ Optional Topping

06 - 3 tablespoons shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 175°C for 2–3 minutes.
02 - Butter both sides of each bread slice using the unsalted butter or cooking spray.
03 - Gently press down the center of each slice using a measuring cup or spoon to create a shallow well.
04 - Crack one egg into the center of each prepared bread slice.
05 - Sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper over the eggs.
06 - Place bread slices in the preheated air fryer basket, optionally lined with parchment paper. Air fry for 4–7 minutes based on desired yolk doneness.
07 - Add shredded cheese over the eggs during the final 1–2 minutes of air frying, if using.
08 - Carefully remove the toasts using a spatula and serve immediately.
