Buttery Pistachio Cookie Bars (Print)

Rich, soft bars combine pistachio and butter for a crowd-pleasing, easy treat with a lovely green hue.

# Ingredients:

01 - 115 grams unsalted butter, softened
02 - 2 large eggs
03 - 96 grams pistachio instant pudding mix
04 - 1 package sugar cookie mix (approximately 496 grams)

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven temperature to 190°C (375°F) and allow it to fully preheat.
02 - Combine softened butter, eggs, and pistachio instant pudding mix in a large mixing bowl. Cream together until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
03 - Gradually add the sugar cookie mix to the creamed mixture and stir until a cohesive, sticky dough forms.
04 - Lightly grease a 25 x 38 cm baking sheet. Evenly press the dough into the pan, smoothing it to the edges to ensure uniform thickness.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven until the edges turn lightly golden, about 15–18 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.

01 - For easier slicing, allow the bars to cool fully or chill briefly in the refrigerator before cutting.
