Cut thawed puff pastry sheet into 6 equal rectangles and arrange on the prepared baking sheet.

Combine softened butter, honey (or brown sugar), ground cinnamon, and apple pie spice in a bowl and blend until smooth.

Spread approximately one tablespoon of the honey cinnamon butter mixture evenly onto each pastry rectangle.

Layer thin apple slices over the buttered pastry, overlapping slightly as needed.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the puff pastry is crisp and golden brown.

After removing from oven, sprinkle tarts with crushed pecans and drizzle with caramel sauce. Optionally, dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving.
