Melted cheddar, seasoned beef, and tender vegetables create a flavorful sandwich in soft hoagie rolls.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 6 hoagie rolls
02 - 2 tablespoons avocado oil or other neutral oil
03 - 450 grams ground beef
04 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
05 - 2 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
06 - 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
07 - 1 clove garlic, minced
08 - 310 millilitres cream of mushroom soup or 300 grams canned
09 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
10 - Salt and pepper, to taste
11 - 150 grams cheddar cheese, grated

# Steps:

01 - Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add avocado oil, ground beef, and chopped onion. Sauté for 7 to 10 minutes until beef is evenly browned and onions are translucent. Sprinkle Montreal steak seasoning over the mixture.
02 - Incorporate chopped green bell pepper and minced garlic into the skillet. Stir frequently and cook for 3 minutes until vegetables are softened and fragrant.
03 - Pour in cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce. Season generously with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and allow the mixture to simmer gently for 5 minutes so flavours meld together.
04 - Remove the skillet from heat. Add grated cheddar cheese and fold it into the beef mixture until fully melted and incorporated.
05 - Generously fill each hoagie roll with the hot cheesy beef mixture. Serve sandwiches immediately while warm.

# Additional Notes:

01 - If the filling is too thick, a few tablespoons of milk may be added to reach desired consistency.
02 - Drain excess fat after browning the beef or use lean ground beef for a lighter option.
03 - A dash of sriracha or hot sauce may be added to the filling for additional heat.
