Chocolate Craving Cake Decadent (Print)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake

01 - 125 g all-purpose flour
02 - 200 g granulated sugar
03 - 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
05 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
06 - 120 ml vegetable oil
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 1 teaspoon white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
09 - 240 ml warm water

→ Chocolate Glaze

10 - 120 ml heavy cream
11 - 90 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease and line a 20×20 cm baking pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly blended.
03 - Make a well in the center and add vegetable oil, vanilla extract, vinegar, and warm water. Whisk until a smooth batter forms.
04 - Pour batter into the prepared pan and level the surface. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
05 - Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until just simmering. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and butter, and stir until completely smooth and glossy.
06 - Pour warm chocolate glaze over the cooled cake, spreading evenly. Let the glaze set for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
