Cinnamon Sugar Baked Peaches (Print)

Sweet peaches baked with cinnamon and sugar for a warm, buttery treat. Perfect with ice cream or yogurt.

01 - 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
02 - 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
05 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
08 - Pinch of salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
02 - Halve and pit the peaches. Peel if desired for a smoother texture.
03 - Place the peach halves, cut side up, in a baking dish.
04 - In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Stir to blend evenly.
05 - Drizzle the melted butter and vanilla extract over the peach halves.
06 - Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over each peach half.
07 - Drip lemon juice over the peaches and season with a pinch of salt.
08 - Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 25–30 minutes until peaches are tender and syrupy.
09 - Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes to allow caramelization on top of the peaches.
10 - Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving warm.

01 - Add chopped pecans or walnuts before baking for a crunchy topping.
02 - Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or Greek yogurt for an elevated finish.
