Belgian Waffles Homemade (Print)

Airy, crunchy Belgian waffles crafted with basic kitchen staples - just right for family breakfasts or casual get-togethers.

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 3 tablespoons sugar
02 - 4 teaspoons baking powder
03 - ½ teaspoon salt
04 - 2 cups all-purpose flour

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - ⅓ cup melted butter
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 1 ½ cups milk
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Steps:

01 - Turn on your waffle iron so it warms up. While it's heating, get to work on the batter.
02 - Grab a big bowl and stir together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder using a whisk.
03 - In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. If the butter hardens in the cold liquid, stir it until it’s all mixed well.
04 - Take the wet ingredients and carefully pour them into the dry mix. Stir gently until they’ve just combined. Don’t go overboard with mixing.
05 - Lightly coat your waffle iron with oil, spray, or butter. Add enough batter to fit your waffle maker and cook until they’re crisp and golden. Keep going until you’ve used all the batter.
06 - Eat the waffles right away with maple syrup or any toppings you like best.
