01 -
Preheat oven to 175°C and grease a 23x13 cm loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
02 -
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
03 -
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
04 -
Fold in mashed bananas until evenly combined.
05 -
Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined to avoid overmixing.
06 -
In a separate bowl, blend cream cheese, granulated sugar, and egg until smooth and creamy.
07 -
Combine ground cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl.
08 -
Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the surface. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the batter. Top with remaining banana batter.
09 -
Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture over the top layer of batter.
10 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
11 -
Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely prior to slicing.
