Doritos Crusted Chicken Tenders (Print)

Juicy chicken strips coated in Cool Ranch Doritos for extra crunch and bold flavor, baked until golden and crispy.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 kg boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 255 g Cool Ranch Doritos

→ Breading & Coating

03 - 95 g all-purpose flour
04 - 4 large eggs, beaten
05 - 180 ml whole milk

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Line two baking trays with foil or brush with olive oil. Place a wire rack over each tray if available.
02 - Cut chicken breasts into strips approximately 8–10 cm in length and 5–7 cm in width. Transfer the chicken strips to a bowl and set aside.
03 - Crush Doritos inside the sealed bag until the texture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
04 - Set up shallow bowls containing the milk, flour, beaten eggs, and crushed Doritos in sequential order for dredging.
05 - Dredge each chicken strip first in milk, then in flour, followed by eggs, and finally coat thoroughly in crushed Doritos. Lay coated strips on the prepared trays.
06 - Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking. Confirm internal temperature reaches 74°C and the chicken is fully cooked.
07 - Plate the tenders immediately with dipping sauces of choice, such as barbecue or ranch. Garnish with sliced green onions if desired.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For optimal crispiness, bake chicken strips on a wire rack to enhance air circulation.
02 - Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days or freeze for up to three months.
03 - Reheat using an air fryer or oven preheated to 175°C until hot and crispy.
