Fresh Fruit Tart Delight (Print-Friendly Version)

A flaky shell filled with creamy custard topped by fresh, vibrant fruits for a classic dessert.

# Ingredients Required:

→ Tart Shell

01 - 155 grams all-purpose flour
02 - 115 grams unsalted butter, cold and cubed
03 - 50 grams granulated sugar
04 - Pinch of salt
05 - 1 large egg yolk

→ Custard Filling

06 - 240 milliliters whole milk
07 - 16 grams cornstarch
08 - 5 milliliters vanilla extract

→ Topping

09 - Assorted fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, peaches, etc.)

# Detailed Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold cubed butter until the mixture forms coarse crumbs. Incorporate the egg yolk and blend until a dough forms.
02 - Press the dough evenly into a tart pan. Prick the base with a fork to prevent puffing. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
03 - In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt until smooth. Cook while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens, approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
04 - Pour the custard into the cooled tart shell. Arrange the fresh fruits attractively on top. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to set.

# Helpful Advice:
