Delicious Fresh Peach Fritters (Print)

# Ingredients:

→ Batter

01 - 2 medium fresh peaches, peeled and diced
02 - 130 grams all-purpose flour
03 - 50 grams granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - 0.25 teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

07 - 1 large egg
08 - 120 ml whole milk

→ For Frying and Finishing

09 - Vegetable oil, for deep frying
10 - Extra ground cinnamon, for dusting

# Steps:

01 - Wash, peel, and dice the peaches into bite-sized pieces.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat the egg and whisk in the whole milk.
04 - Pour wet mixture over the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Batter should remain lumpy.
05 - Carefully fold the diced peaches into the batter.
06 - Heat approximately 5 cm of vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until oil shimmers.
07 - Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry each side for 3 to 4 minutes, or until evenly golden brown.
08 - Remove fritters with a slotted spoon, drain on paper towels, and sprinkle warm fritters with extra cinnamon sugar.
