# Ingredients:

01 - 450 g lean ground beef
02 - 200 g orzo pasta
03 - 1 medium onion, diced
04 - 3 garlic cloves, minced

→ Liquids and Seasonings

05 - 480 ml beef broth or vegetable broth
06 - 30 g tomato paste
07 - 1 teaspoon paprika
08 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste

11 - 40 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
02 - Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
03 - Stir in tomato paste, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring continuously until the mixture is fragrant.
04 - Pour in broth and add rinsed orzo pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring once halfway, until orzo is tender and has absorbed liquid.
05 - Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the mixture is creamy. Adjust salt and pepper to taste before serving.

01 - For extra depth, substitute half the broth with red wine. Allow the orzo to rest, off heat, for 3 minutes after cooking for ideal texture.
