Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wipe chicken breasts dry and rub both sides with salt and coarse black pepper.
02 -
Grab a small pot and melt ¼ cup butter on medium heat. Toss in chopped garlic, cooking just until you can smell it, around 30 seconds. Mix in honey until it's all blended.
03 -
Put your seasoned chicken in a baking dish and pour half the honey mix on top. Cook for 25-30 minutes, until chicken hits 165°F (75°C) inside.
04 -
While that's going, get some salted water boiling and throw in the macaroni. Cook until it's firm but not hard. Drain the water off and set pasta aside.
05 -
In another pot with medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add flour and stir to make a paste, cooking about 1 minute. Slowly pour in milk while stirring until it thickens, then dump in the cheddar and stir until it's all melty.
06 -
Mix the pasta with your cheese sauce. Put the chicken on plates with the mac and cheese, and drizzle the leftover honey mix on top of the chicken.
