Power-packed health shots combining ginger, turmeric and lemon that boost your wellbeing and cost less than what you'd buy in stores.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
02 - 2 teaspoons of black peppercorns
03 - 1 pound of fresh turmeric, cleaned well
04 - 1 pound of fresh ginger, cleaned well
05 - 1 tablespoon of avocado oil
06 - Around 1 cup water, just enough to blend the ginger and turmeric together

# Steps:

01 - Use a vegetable brush or rub them with your hands to clean a pound of ginger and another pound of turmeric. No need to peel them.
02 - Put ginger, turmeric, peppercorns, and a little water into a big blender or juicer. Blend until you’ve got a thick, wet pulp. You might need to do this in parts.
03 - Use a fine strainer over a bowl and press the pulp with a rubber spatula to squeeze out all the juice. Repeat filtering the liquid a couple more times to make sure the pulp is gone.
04 - Squeeze the lemons with a citrus juicer and pour the juice into the strained liquid. Stir in the avocado oil until it’s all mixed smoothly.
05 - Pour the juice into big mason jars or divide it into small glass bottles. Keep it in the fridge for up to 7 days, or freeze it as little cubes for smoothies or other drinks.

# Additional Notes:

01 - These shots have a bold, spicy kick from ginger, turmeric, and black pepper. Add some elderberry syrup if you want a touch of sweetness.
02 - If you want even better black pepper flavor, add a pinch of freshly cracked pepper to the shot before drinking.
