01 -
Preheat oven to 220°C. Prepare a baking sheet lined with aluminium foil and position a wire cooling rack on top. Lightly spray the rack with non-stick cooking spray.
02 -
In a large bowl, combine salt, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, and baking powder. Add the chicken wings and toss thoroughly to ensure each piece is evenly coated.
03 -
Arrange the coated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared rack. Ensure adequate spacing for even cooking.
04 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, turning wings half-way through, until skin is crisp and golden.
05 -
In a separate bowl, whisk together lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and melted butter to create the sauce.
06 -
Allow baked wings to cool slightly. Transfer to a clean bowl and toss with the lemon pepper butter mixture until evenly coated.
07 -
Return the coated wings to the cooling rack to drain any excess butter for several minutes.
08 -
Transfer wings to a serving platter. Optionally garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with ranch dressing.
