# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 large onions
02 - 1 cup (100 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded

→ Coating

03 - 1 cup (70 g) breadcrumbs
04 - 1/2 cup (60 g) plain flour
05 - 2 eggs
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon paprika
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
02 - Slice onions into thick rings, then gently separate the layers and set aside.
03 - Combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
04 - Place flour in a shallow dish and whisk eggs in a separate bowl.
05 - Fill each onion ring cavity with shredded mozzarella cheese.
06 - Dredge each stuffed onion ring in flour, dip in the whisked eggs, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
07 - Place the coated onion rings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes or until the onion rings are golden brown and crisp.
