# Ingredients:

01 - 240 g all-purpose flour
02 - 200 g granulated sugar
03 - 115 g unsalted butter, at room temperature
04 - 240 ml whole milk
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 12 g baking powder
07 - 5 ml vanilla extract
08 - 1 g salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C.
02 - In a mixing bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
05 - Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, mixing until just combined.
06 - Pour the batter evenly into a greased baking pan.
07 - Bake on the centre rack for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
08 - Allow to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
