Cheesy Onion Crisps (Print)

Crunchy baked onion circles topped with rich parmesan and tasty spices making a fantastic low-carb nibble.

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese

01 - 12 oz finely grated parmesan

→ Vegetables

02 - 1 medium-sized white onion

→ Seasonings

03 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
04 - 1/2 tsp paprika
05 - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

→ Oil

06 - 1/2 tbsp olive oil or a bit of cooking spray

# Steps:

01 - Set the temperature to 400°F and put some parchment on a baking tray.
02 - Cut the onion into slices about 1/4 inch thick. Spread half of the cheese evenly on the lined tray, then add the onion circles on top, making sure they don’t overlap.
03 - Cover the onion slices with the spices and spray a bit of oil on each one. Add the rest of the cheese over everything and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until crispy and golden.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Lining with parchment keeps the onions from sticking to the tray.
02 - Use one or two big onions, or two to three smaller ones.
03 - Once fully cooled, cutting onion chips with a pizza slicer is super easy.
