Add the milk and creamy peanut butter to the saucepan. Stir thoroughly. Continue heating, stirring occasionally, until the mixture steams and peanut butter is seamlessly blended.

Pour the hot chocolate into a 240 ml mug. Optionally, top with whipped cream and drizzle with peanut butter sauce to taste.
