# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 900 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 450 g fresh green beans, trimmed
03 - 900 g red or yellow potatoes, quartered

→ Seasonings and Liquids

04 - 120 ml chicken broth
05 - 5 ml salt
06 - 5 ml ground black pepper
07 - 5 ml garlic powder
08 - 5 ml onion powder
09 - 5 ml paprika
10 - 5 ml dried thyme
11 - 15 ml olive oil
12 - 30 g unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

# Steps:

01 - Wash and prep the green beans by trimming the ends. Quarter the potatoes. Arrange the green beans and potatoes at the base of the slow cooker.
02 - Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels. Layer the chicken over the vegetables in the slow cooker.
03 - In a small bowl, thoroughly combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and dried thyme.
04 - Drizzle olive oil over the chicken. Rub the spice mix evenly onto the chicken breasts, ensuring full coverage.
05 - Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker, distributing evenly over the chicken, potatoes, and green beans.
06 - Evenly distribute the butter pieces over the surface of the chicken and vegetables.
07 - Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 7–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours, until the chicken is tender and potatoes are completely cooked through.
08 - Test the tenderness of chicken and potatoes with a fork. Adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper as needed.
09 - Serve the seasoned chicken alongside the green beans and potatoes. Spoon cooking juices from the slow cooker over the top before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For a tangy flavor, add 15 ml lemon juice before serving.
02 - Substitute sweet potatoes for red or yellow potatoes for a different profile.
03 - Suitable for meal prep; can be refrigerated up to four days.
04 - Experiment with herbs such as rosemary or basil for added variation.
