Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry using paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper evenly.

Combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and additional salt in a bowl. Generously coat the ribs with the spice mixture.

Place the seasoned ribs into the slow cooker. Add barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar over the ribs.

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the ribs are tender.

For a sticky glaze, transfer cooked ribs to a baking sheet, brush with additional barbecue sauce, and broil for 5 minutes until bubbly.
