Smash Chicken Caesar Tacos (Print)

Crispy tortillas hold savory ground chicken, Caesar-dressed lettuce, Parmesan, and bacon bits for bold bites.

# Ingredients:

→ For Cooking

01 - Avocado oil, for greasing the pan

→ Assembly

02 - 8 small flour tortillas
03 - 1/2 head romaine lettuce, finely chopped
04 - 3 tablespoons beef bacon bits
05 - 80 ml Caesar dressing
06 - 50 g Parmesan cheese, shredded

→ Chicken Layer

07 - 500 g ground chicken
08 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder
09 - Black pepper, to taste
10 - Salt, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Combine ground chicken with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix thoroughly to ensure even seasoning.
02 - Take each tortilla and gently press a thin, even layer of the seasoned chicken mixture onto one side. Ensure the chicken adheres well to the tortilla.
03 - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease with avocado oil. Place tortillas chicken side down and sear for 2 to 3 minutes until the meat is golden brown and cooked through.
04 - Flip each tortilla so the side without chicken cooks against the skillet. Allow to crisp until both sides are crunchy.
05 - Top each taco with chopped romaine lettuce, drizzle with Caesar dressing, sprinkle with shredded Parmesan, and finish with beef bacon bits. Optionally, toss the lettuce with dressing prior to topping for uniform flavor.
06 - Fold the hot, crispy tacos and serve immediately while crunchy.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Pressing the chicken firmly onto the tortillas ensures even cooking and prevents the meat from separating during searing.
02 - Mixing the lettuce with Caesar dressing before assembling provides a more cohesive, salad-style topping.
