Top chicken with pineapple chunks, pour in the teriyaki sauce, add the brown sugar and soy sauce, then sprinkle the garlic powder and ground ginger over all ingredients.

Place the sliced bell pepper on top of the chicken and sauce mixture.

Cover with the lid and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
