Taco Bell Nacho Fries (Print)

Crispy seasoned fries paired with smooth, spicy cheese sauce, perfect for sharing anytime.

# Ingredients:

→ Fries

01 - 450 g frozen extra crispy fast food-style French fries
02 - Vegetable oil, for deep frying

→ Seasoning Mixture

03 - 2 teaspoons fine salt
04 - 2 tablespoons paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 2 teaspoons chili powder
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional

→ Cheese Sauce

09 - 16 slices processed American cheese
10 - 60 ml whole milk
11 - 1 tablespoon pickled jalapeño brine

# Steps:

01 - In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the salt, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, and optional cayenne pepper until well combined.
02 - Pour enough vegetable oil into a deep saucepan to reach a depth of at least 7.5 cm. Heat the oil to 180°C.
03 - Add the frozen fries in batches to the hot oil. Fry for 6 to 8 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
04 - Tear the American cheese slices into small pieces. Place cheese, milk, and jalapeño brine in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the sauce is smooth and fully melted.
05 - Transfer the warm fries to a large bowl and toss evenly with the prepared seasoning mixture until fully coated.
06 - Arrange the seasoned fries on a serving platter and accompany with the hot cheese sauce for dipping.
