Easy garlic butter chicken (Print-Friendly Version)

Tender chicken thighs infused with garlic, butter, and herbs for a simple, delicious main dish.

# Ingredients Required:

→ Poultry

01 - 4–6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

→ Aromatics and Fats

02 - 4–6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
03 - 60 g unsalted butter (4 tablespoons), melted
04 - 30 ml olive oil (2 tablespoons)

→ Herbs and Seasoning

05 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or parsley, chopped
06 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# Detailed Directions:

01 - Combine melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and chopped herbs. Marinate the chicken thighs in this mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to develop flavor.
02 - Set the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) to prepare for baking.
03 - Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place chicken thighs skin-side down and sear until the skin is golden brown, approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Flip and sear the opposite side briefly to ensure even browning.
04 - Transfer the skillet with seared chicken to the preheated oven. Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C and juices run clear.
05 - Remove the chicken from the oven and let rest for several minutes to allow juices to redistribute and maintain tenderness.

# Helpful Advice:

01 - Marinating the chicken thighs allows the flavors to penetrate and improves juiciness.
