Healthy Fudgesicles with Chocolate (Print)

Creamy chocolate fudgesicles made with coconut milk and dark chocolate for a luscious, healthier frozen dessert.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 can (approximately 400 ml) full-fat coconut milk or coconut cream
02 - 180 ml whole, 2%, or unsweetened plant-based milk (avoid nonfat)

→ Chocolate Components

03 - 3 tablespoons (approximately 18 g) unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder
04 - 225 g high-quality dark chocolate (minimum 70% cacao), chopped

# Steps:

01 - In a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan, whisk together coconut milk or coconut cream, milk, and cocoa powder until the mixture is completely smooth.
02 - Place the saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk occasionally and gently heat until the mixture reaches a low simmer. Remove from heat immediately once it simmers.
03 - Add chopped dark chocolate to the hot mixture. Whisk continuously until all chocolate is melted and the mixture is glossy and homogenous.
04 - Pour the chocolate mixture into popsicle molds. If using horizontal-style molds, allow the mixture to rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes or until slightly thickened before pouring.
05 - Transfer molds to the freezer and freeze for a minimum of 6 hours, or until completely solid. Unmold just before serving.

01 - For optimal taste and consistency, select premium dark chocolate with at least 70% cacao content.
