# Ingredients:

01 - 250 grams all-purpose flour
02 - 200 grams granulated sugar
03 - 227 grams unsalted butter, softened
04 - 4 large eggs
05 - 240 millilitres whole milk
06 - 8 grams baking powder
07 - 5 millilitres vanilla extract
08 - 3 grams fine salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C.
02 - Grease and flour a 23 x 33 centimetre baking pan, ensuring all corners are coated.
03 - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
04 - Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition to fully combine.
05 - Blend in the vanilla extract until distributed evenly.
06 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add half of the dry mixture to the wet batter, then add half the milk. Repeat with remaining dry ingredients and milk, mixing just until incorporated.
07 - Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre emerges clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
