Homemade Creamy Peanut Butter (Print)

Smooth, creamy peanut butter made with simple ingredients in under 20 minutes, perfect for spreading or baking.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups (300 g) peanuts
02 - 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) salt
03 - 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Spread peanuts evenly on a baking tray and roast in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes until golden and fragrant.
02 - Remove the tray from the oven and allow peanuts to cool for several minutes to prevent overheating during blending.
03 - Transfer cooled peanuts and salt to a food processor.
04 - Process peanuts and salt until smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides as needed for even blending.
05 - If desired, add honey or maple syrup and blend briefly until fully incorporated.
06 - Spoon the creamy peanut butter into a sterilised jar and refrigerate for prolonged freshness.

01 - For reduced sodium, choose unsalted peanuts and adjust salt to preference.
