Combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a large mixing bowl.

Gradually add warm water and milk, kneading until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 60 minutes or until doubled in size.

Divide the risen dough into 8 equal portions and flatten each into a disc.

Place a portion of curry filling in the center of each disc, then seal and shape into smooth buns.

Allow the shaped buns to proof for another 30 minutes to puff up.

Heat oil in a deep pan to 180°C and fry the buns until golden brown on all sides.

Remove buns and drain on paper towels before serving warm.
