Bananas and chocolate chips combine in a soft, fluffy loaf that's ideal for snacking or sharing.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 ripe bananas, mashed
02 - 60 grams unsalted butter, melted
03 - 100 grams granulated sugar
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Dry Ingredients

06 - 125 grams all-purpose flour
07 - 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 0.25 teaspoon salt

→ Mix-ins

09 - 60 grams mini chocolate chips

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a mini loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in the melted butter and granulated sugar until well blended.
03 - Add the egg and vanilla extract to the banana mixture, mixing until uniform.
04 - In a separate bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid over-mixing.
05 - Gently fold mini chocolate chips into the batter, ensuring even distribution.
06 - Transfer batter into the prepared mini loaf pan, smoothing the surface.
07 - Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
08 - Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Using overripe bananas intensifies sweetness and imparts pronounced banana flavour.
02 - Mini chocolate chips guarantee an even distribution of chocolate in each bite.
03 - You may fold in chopped walnuts or pecans for added texture.
04 - After cooling, wrap slices individually and freeze for convenient snacks.
