Combine frozen peaches, water, and granulated sugar in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely, approximately 30 minutes.

Pour the peach syrup through a fine mesh sieve, discarding the solids or reserving them for garnish if desired.

In a medium saucepan, bring 950 millilitres of water to a boil. Add black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.

Add the remaining 950 millilitres cold water to a 2-litre pitcher. Remove tea bags from the pot, gently squeezing out the liquid. Pour the brewed tea into the pitcher.

Stir in baking soda, lemon juice, and peach syrup. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more peach syrup if desired. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving over ice. Garnish with sliced lemons if preferred.
