Peach Sweet Tea Drink (Print)

Refreshing peach sweet tea with homemade syrup, black tea, and lemon—perfect for summer gatherings over ice.

# Ingredients:

→ Peach Syrup

01 - 300 grams frozen peaches
02 - 240 millilitres water
03 - 200 grams granulated sugar

→ Iced Tea

04 - 1.9 litres water
05 - 8 black tea bags
06 - 2 teaspoons baking soda
07 - Juice of 2 lemons
08 - 240 millilitres peach syrup, plus additional to taste

# Steps:

01 - Combine frozen peaches, water, and granulated sugar in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely, approximately 30 minutes.
02 - Pour the peach syrup through a fine mesh sieve, discarding the solids or reserving them for garnish if desired.
03 - In a medium saucepan, bring 950 millilitres of water to a boil. Add black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
04 - Add the remaining 950 millilitres cold water to a 2-litre pitcher. Remove tea bags from the pot, gently squeezing out the liquid. Pour the brewed tea into the pitcher.
05 - Stir in baking soda, lemon juice, and peach syrup. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more peach syrup if desired. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving over ice. Garnish with sliced lemons if preferred.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Reserve leftover cooked peaches to add to glasses for extra texture or serve as a topping for desserts.
