# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 315 g all-purpose flour
02 - 227 g unsalted butter, softened
03 - 200 g granulated sugar
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 5 ml vanilla extract
06 - 60 g unsweetened cocoa powder
07 - 2.5 ml salt
08 - 5 ml baking powder

# Steps:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar together using a hand mixer or stand mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy.
02 - Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract until fully integrated.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until a cohesive dough forms.
04 - Split the dough evenly into two portions. Reserve one half as the vanilla base.
05 - Blend the unsweetened cocoa powder thoroughly into the second dough portion to create the chocolate layer.
06 - Alternate spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate dough onto a lined baking sheet. Swirl the dough lightly with a toothpick or skewer to achieve a marbled zebra effect.
07 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are set. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For pronounced marbling, do not overmix the dough during swirling.
